Scunthorpe Cadets

Scunthorpe Cadets

Tom Clay, Callum Driver and Liam Rowson

Impressed while representing Scunthorpe in the cadet league on Sunday 20th September at Market Rasen.
They won all four matches on the day with some outstanding peformances against some England ranked players. Liam played very well was unbeaten on the day winning an impressive 12 out of 12 games.Callum chipped in with 10 wins out of 12 only losing out by the odd point here and there in the games he lost. The most immpresive performance must go to Tom Clay who also won 10 from 12 games, but considering these were Tom's first ever competitive games (TOM HAS NEVER EVEN PLAYED A LEAGUE MATCH) this was a pretty remakable performance. All three gained valueable ranking points and will feature in the national ranking lists published by the ETTA.

SSC - (Liam Callum and Tom) came 2nd in the 1st division of the National Cadet League today losing out to Market Rasen. Both teams ended on 13 points so went to a count back on singles won and lost and we unfortunately lost by 1 set..
