Guest players are those that are not currently registered with any other table tennis organisation and have registered with Table Tennis England (TTE) through Rod, having paid STTA their TTE fee of £16 (£8 for Juniors). The first two matches are then free, but for subsequent matches, they must pay £4 for each match (Juniors = £3), until they’ve paid the full £20 fee (Juniors = £12). Once the full fee has been paid, they must then register for a team, for the rest of the season. Match fees should be paid to Rod.
Guests are not eligible to play in the main Handicap Competition, until they’ve registered for a team.
POSITION AFTER CHRISTMAS
For players joining after 31st December 2019, the STTA fees are Seniors £10 and Juniors £6. The TTE fees don’t change, at £16 and £8 respectively.
Please note, however, the following important Rule regarding registrations and transfers after 31 December 2019, which will require a minimum of eight days before a player can be authorised to play ~
Generally, a team shall not be able to register, or transfer a player, after 31 December. Any team wishing to register, or transfer a player after this date must, therefore, first of all seek the approval of the Match Secretary and two other Committee Officials and provide a satisfactory explanation, for this late registration, or transfer application. Their decision will be communicated, as far as practicable, to all Team Captains of the relevant Division. In the event of any objection being received, within seven days of this decision, then the registration, or transfer, will be put on hold, until such time as the matter can be resolved by a quorate Committee meeting, whether specially convened, or not and their decision will be final. If no such objection is received, then the registration, or transfer will be approved.
